Draw an Arctic Monkey and Win CDs!

[UPDATE: The contest is now closed]

What’s an arctic monkey? I don’t know either.

But I am sure YOU can draw it.

And if you draw an awesome one, you can win 3 CDs of your choice from Insound, Amazon or, CDUniverse.

How to Enter:
[UPDATE: The contest is now closed]

1. Go to http://www.imagination3.com/ and use GE‘s excellent sketchboard to draw your impression of an “arctic monkey”.

2. Once you’ve sketched *it*, click SEND, fill out your name and e-mail and put monkeys@non-standard.net as one of the friends to send it to. Be sure to check the box to mail a copy to yourself as well – this way I can see your e-mail address and click SUBMIT.

3. There is actually no step 3, that’s it! 🙂

This is a Picture I Did Not Take

That’s how each entry begins at Unphotographable – a project by Michael David Murphy where he writes about incredible moments not captured by a camera:

This is a picture I did not take of a television set in Nyaung U, Myanmar, showing BBC News via satellite on a morning in early December, when the Myanmar government declared their yearly extension of democracy leader Aung Sun Suu Kyi’s house arrest, and how, less than ten seconds after this brief mention of her name, there was a city-wide blackout.

If the Burmese junta can’t control what the television says, they still control the electricity, albeit ten seconds too late.

There are many more.
