Very good article. I agree with the author 100%. I have found new music by (particularly urban) visiting myspace, hip hop indie spotlight on itunes, street remix tapes, etc. The commercialization of music and or culture has become a disturbing trend. Nothing should ever be a fad but more a way of life. Music revitalizes my mind, spirit and total inner being. It’s hard to get that feeling from traditional Radio, Mtv and or Bet. All hail to the internet for erasing all barriers of media and allowing anyone to have access to anything. Cheers.
