Our 2nd ever User Survey is upon us! This is where we get a chance to learn a bit more about who you are, what you think of the Hype Machine and what you’d like to see here in the future. You can check out some info from our last survey on our Demographics Page and various blog posts.

You can’t listen to the obscure stuff, is it a licensing issue? I want more choices. On a scale of 1 – 1,9867,98.67; I’d give this site a 1, 7090,78.245. = Solid B

Cool, but have you ever thought about adding a “share this” feature to the tracks/blogs? to make it even easier for people to spread new music?

But I beg for playlists! I`d love to create playlists and name them adding all the tracks i want.

Your site has opened my eyes to so many new artists and genres, I find myself coming back each day to get my fix of new music!
I would say the 1 thing that would make the site even better for me would be a detachable player that stays open even if the listing page is refreshed or changed so not to stop the music while you are searching for tracks, like the pop up player you have now, but one that changes to page clicks, give you the choice of play now or add to playlist.
Not too much to ask for! lol

I first stumbled onto this site when I was looking for Justice vs. Simian “we Are Your Friends”
I dont have internet access at school so when I found this I was astonished it was not blocked. Ever since then it has been pure love, I am somewhat disappointed I can’t listen to all the tracks I search but other than that, it is sublime. This site has made me expand my music taste and has offered me something that other sites don’t which is unlimited to number of play, I don’t necessarily have to pay, and offers remixes and everything.
So keep doing what your doing because it has certainly changed my life.
No joke.

Great site! innovative, updated, fresh, fun, … it is great to find on the net site like yours.
The idea of having fresh Music Blogs every hour, the world live rado, the “popular” link to what it is most heard and the little gadget to listen all songs in a page, makes The Hype Machine one of my favorite sites ever.

I took the survey but forgot to add one suggestion: in people’s profiles (hypem.com/user) allow for a link to that person’s website, like del.icio.us or ffffound.com do.
