We’re always thinking about providing you with more ways to discover new music to fall in love with.
We’ve now added links to users who are listening and favoriting every track you see throughout the site. That way, when you find someone with equally awesome taste in music, you can check out what else she’s listening to.
Maybe it’s something you haven’t heard yet! 🙂
Nice. This is wild because I just posted *last night* about this sort of feature that I was missing on Hype. I said this:
What if I could play music on Hype Machine (music that people are talking about right now) that is relevant to me based on my previous listening or my geographic location (I like geographic features).
It seems like this is where this new feature is leading! Adding more context to my listening. Very nice!

Nice! It beats faving the track to see who else heard it/faved it too.

…On an issue totally unrelated, I’ve noticed there seems to be a hell of a lot of defunct blogs that feature on the Hype Machine (as much a 1/2). By defunct I mean that they’ve been shut down, or not posted in the last 6 months. Maybe take ’em of the list? I dunno

does it shows users that recently heard or loved that track? or what order does the user links follow?
i would like to see users that have loved several tracks that i have loved too.

Can you add a feature so the music will continue playing as I browse through the site? And more play list sort features.
